Martin talks about wine about once a month on Dublin radio station News Talk 106 FM on a Friday at about 3.30pm on the Moncrieff show. He usually tastes two or three wines and details will appear here. Previous wines of the week can be viewed in the archive.

Savings at Superquinn May 12th 2006

Superquinn's annual New World wine sale is on from May 3rd to 30th and we'll be talking about it and tasting a few of the offerings in the Newstalk 106fm studio on the Moncrieff show on Friday May 12^th at after the 3.30pm news.

Savings vary from 5 - 30%. We'll taste Hope Estate Merlot 2001 (was €13.99 now €9.99) from Australia's Hunter valley, Geoff Merrill Rose 2005 (was €8.99 now €7.99) from South Australia and Augustinos Sauvignon Blanc Reserve 2005 (was €9.99 now €8.29) from the Bio-Bio region of Chile
